Raccoon catch and release while removing a hazardous dead Poplar treetop.
We found a family of Raccoons when climbing to make the cut, and so we had to drop back and regroup.
Avoiding risk for the climber and wildlife, we caught the mother Raccoon overnight and then took care of the treetop the next day.
Leaving a snag pole with their home intact, then released her back to her pups.
